Who we are
We are Rafa and Lara, and we love to travel around the world. When we started travelling frequently and looked for tips, we realized that a lot of sites assume that it is possible to take a large amount of holidays to explore a destination without limitations. Because of our work, we cannot take so many days off, so we decided to design optimized routes where we manage to enjoy the essentials of each destination in a shorter time. Additionally, we aim to keep a reasonable budget, minimizing costs to travel comfortably.
In addition to travelling, we also love diving, since it allows us to discover a completely different world under the water. Therefore, we often combine our travel routes with diving and snorkelling days, specially at tropical destinations. We also believe that one of the best ways to discover a new country is through its food, so here you will also be able to find some of the best recipes and restaurants that we have come across during our travels.
At Coleccionando Arenas, we want to share with you such routes, to show that everybody can enjoy travelling, even those with limited amount of holidays. We hope that you find our travel logs helpful, and that you enjoy reading them as much as we do writing them!
